“This guy should’ve been kicked out,” Former NBA star denounces Shannon Sharpe for letting his emotions run high against Tee Morant during Lakers vs Grizzlies showdown
Former NBA player Chandler Parsons lets all his frustrations out about Shannon Sharpe's meltdown during Lakers vs Grizzlies game.
Last week’s Los Angeles Lakers’ victory over the Memphis Grizzlies had significant controversy involving a number of Grizzlies players and NFL veteran and sports commentator Shannon Sharpe. Shannon Sharpe should not be permitted to watch another game, according to former NBA forward Chandler Parsons.
“This guy should’ve been kicked out so quick, he should not be able to go back to a game courtside…,” Chandler Parsons on Shannon Sharpe’s courtside altercation with Grizzlies on RunItBack with MichelleDBeadle & ShamsCharania.“This was pathetic on the Lakers security, honestly,” he said.
The Lakers’ performance in the game was quite impressive. The Lakers have recently put on some incredibly brave performances, despite the fact that they are still missing star big man Anthony Davis. The Laker’s victory over Memphis, 122-121, is a contender for their finest victory of the year thus far.
The Lakers’ 2022–23 season was off to the worst possible start. After the first 12 games of the season, they had only amassed two victories. However, the team has continued to advance since that time. Despite being three games below.500 on the season, the squad is now only two games behind the No. 6 spot in the Western Conference.
Shannon Sharpe issues a serious apology
On Monday, Shannon Sharpe used his media platform to express regret for the confrontation he had with Memphis Grizzlies players two days prior, during a game at the Los Angeles Lakers’ Crypto.com Arena, which went viral.
LeBron James of the Lakers, Dillon Brooks, and Ja Morant of the Grizzlies are just a few of the athletes Shannon Sharpe mentioned in his extensive apology. Sharpe deserves praise for admitting his error. Nowadays, few celebrities apologize publicly when they make a mistake.
“As you have probably heard or seen Friday night at the Lakers game, I want to apologize for my behavior,” Shannon Sharpe said. “As I’ve preached for the last 6 1/2 years, responsibility and accountability. And I take full responsibility for what transpired. It does not matter what Dillon Brooks said or how many times he said it.“
Further, the former NFL star added: “I want to apologize to a few people. First of all, I want to apologize to the Lakers organization. To Jeannie Buss and the Buss family, I apologize for any harm or unwanted attention that I brought to your organization. I want to apologize to the Memphis Grizzlies organization and fans,” Shannon Sharpe apologized to both organizations.
