LeBron James is one of the biggest names in basketball. He is a global superstar, known throughout the world. As a result, his family often comes into the limelight as well. His eldest son, Bronny James, is one of the most frequent candidates for this media attention. He is playing basketball at the college level now and has signed with USC.

Due to his immense popularity, Bronny has a high value in the media. Because of this, the media has to pay when they use an image or reference him through a NIL – Name, Image, Likeness – scheme. Through this Bronny James is possibly set to earn $5.9 million this year. To put this into context, NBA superstar Russell Westbrook will be making less than $4 million this season through the LA Clippers.

If this is the contract Bronny is getting when he’s in college, one can only imagine the type of deal he’ll sign in the NBA.
