The Greek native has had immense success for himself and stands a serious threat on the court for any league across the world. The Greek Freak became an NBA champion in 2021 after defeating the Phoenix Suns in the finals. This was an award he lacked after winning defensive accolades, All-Star game and back to back league MVP awards, as well as multiple All-NBA selections.

5. Francis Antetokounmpo (October 20, 1988 – Present)

Many know of Giannis Antetokounmpo having four brothers out of which two play in the NBA with him. Francis happens to be the oldest sibling. This sibling was never known for his basketball dominance despite having a short career as a semi-professional in soccer.

Much like their mother Veronica, Francis also found his interests in music. He released his first single as a recording artist in 2020 which was titled “Shekosi.” He would then release “Jump on it,” which would also become a hit. He is the only child from the family to be born in Nigeria.

4. Thanasis Antetokounmpo (July 18, 1992 – Present)

Thanasis could arguably be the second most successful sibling on Giannis Antetokounmpo. He journey in the NBA was a fairly rocky ride but his luck would work out after being paired with his brother. Thansis plays with the Milwaukee Bucks averaging 12 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game.

He became the 51st pick of the 2nd round of the drafted, selected by the New York Knicks. He had a short career playing in the D-league before finding his true path being paired alongside his young brother. He has played for development teams in the United States but also represented several European teams. He also won a championship in 2021. 

3. Giannis Antetokounmpo (December 6, 1994 – Present)

Now we arrived at the King of the NBA courts. Giannis has been balling out harder than ever earning a spot among the NBA’s top 75 players of all time. He was drafted in 2013 and took a while to make improvements to his game considering he was thin and lanky, not as muscular and dominant as he is today.

He is nearly 7 feet and weighs 245 lbs playing the power forward position. He averaged his best numbers this past season with 29.9 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game shooting 55.3% from the field. He finished among the top five in MVP rankings as well almost bagging his third award. Just like LeBron James was to the league, the Greek Freak has become the face of the organization.

2. Kostas Antetokounmpo (November 20, 1997 – Present)

Much like his brother, Kostas also made history when he won the NBA title in 2020. During that time, he had the opportunity to play with LeBron on the Los Angeles Lakers. The historic playoff season saw him as the first ever Greek native to win the title.

He was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers as the last pick of the second round in the 2018 NBA draft. He played for the Dallas Mavericks as a rookie and contributed two years to the Lakers before calling it a career with the league. Now he plays with the ASVEL of French Belctic Elite.

1. Alex Antetokounmpo (August 26, 2001 – Present)

Alexandros Antetokounmpo is the youngest of the clan. He went undrafted after having a fairly successful run outside of the league. Alex is indeed a very talented baller on the rise and might potential be the next NBA threat.

He currently plays for the G-league team, Toronto 905 after being unselected. The player is definitely making a name for himself in the league. This officially makes up all five of the successful siblings that have taken the world of basketball by storm.
