Giannis Antetokounmpo and Evan Mobley
Evan Mobley is all over the NBA headlines as recently Giannis Antetokounmpo himself handed out a validation check for him. As the Greek Freak is riding on the Cavaliers’ young gun’s train while seriously believing in him and his future. Evan Mobley has always been showing out glimpse of his untouched potential. As he’s on the track to be one of the best BIG MEN ever in the league. And, even the best player in the world right now, Giannis Antetokounmpo thinks he can be better than him too.
Recently, the Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers at Fiserv Forum. The game was closely contested and had many highlight-worthy moments. As both, the teams were battling out to get the dub and prove their presence in the eastern conference. But the Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee Bucks came out to be the better ones and registered a dub at 117-102. Evan Mobley and the Cavs sent out the best possible efforts but those weren’t enough.
In the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo took over from the first minute itself and suiting up for only 31 minutes destroyed the Cavaliers while doing everything possible. As he dropped 38 points, dished out 6 dimes and caught 9 boards. On the other hand, Evan Mobley who is expected to be the next Giannis Antetokounmpo by many around the league and the 2021 FMVP himself had a bad night.
As Evan Mobley contributed with only 8 points and 8 rebounds. He had an impact on the defensive end but that didn’t bring in any good success for the team. As he wasn’t able to stop Giannis who had nothing but business plans of getting the dub against them. Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland ran the offensive end with double-digit scoring but failed to finish on the winning end. After the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo though shocked everyone while talking about Evan.
Giannis Antetokounmpo on Evan Mobley’s future

Giannis Antetokounmpo talking about the young star of Cleveland with Cleveland.com said: “He can be better than me. I don’t see why he can’t. It’s up to him. I will always try to improve. Every day. But he has the skill set to be a very, very good player. He’s 7-feet tall. He can move really well. He can shoot. He is very smart. As you said, he watches tapes of other players, which is very, very good for a young player. If he takes this seriously, he is going to be great.”
Further, Giannis Antetokounmpo gave out another honest take while claiming Evan Mobley to already be better than him. As he added: “I didn’t average what he is in my second season, so he’s already ahead of me. It’s in his hands. If he stays humble, continues to work hard, focuses on the game and shows love to the game of basketball, he is going to be really good.”
Giannis Antetokounmpo is really a believer for Evan Mobley and is riding strong on his side. Freak believes if the young seven-footer stays committed and works hard while putting in the required efforts he’ll be great and better than him. And, he’s very right while saying that and that’s not something rare as Evan is already on the track to achieve that feat while balling out. He just has to keep getting better and improve on the necessary ends.
