At Charlotte’s Spectrum Centre on Thursday night, the Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark scored 44 points to lead No. 3 Iowa past No. 8 Virginia Tech 80-76. Out of nowhere, they benched Thanasis Antetokounmpo due to his poor performance in the NBA. Overshadowing Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s spectacular performance.

It seems like Thanasis is finding it hard to get any ice-up from the fans. Who is calling him the worst NBA player? Even he got his rival, according to the fans, Caitlin Clark. Although she had her rival, who was quite a beef everyone watched. After her amazing performance, Angel Resse’s name is getting a loud troll. Their beef is something that both the players got a lot of attention from the fans.

It was a game between Iowa’s Caitlin and LSU’s Angel where Angel got the win by 102-85. Reese’s celebration at the end of the game caused controversy. The LSU forward approached Clark and gestured in her direction with his hand. Reese performed the John Cena-famous “You Can’t See Me” gesture by waving her hand in front of her face. It was the same gesture Clark had made during the Elite Eight.

Now Caitlin is making her profile look stronger (even from Thanasi’s records), got the fans look for Thanasis. Although it makes sense because he has played some worst games where no one could have expected him to play. Fans are making fun of him by calling, giving him the nepotism tag as he came to the NBA because of his brother Giannis.

Fans react and overpower Caitlin Clark above Thanasis Antetokounmpo

Despite spending five seasons with the Bucks, Thanasis has made little of an impact on the game. Through 164 games, he has averaged 2.7 points and 1.8 rebounds for Milwaukee. He may be valuable to the Bucks in the locker room and on the bench, but he hasn’t been able to carve out a consistent role for himself on the floor.

Though he only played eight minutes in a lengthy loss, Thanasis Antetokounmpo’s performance in the recent NBA game against the Atlanta Hawks drew criticism. After Caitlin’s performance, Thanasis gets comments such as, “He’d definitely get cooked,” which shows how bad it is for him. The fact that they were re-signed by the front office to a one-year deal retains a roster spot that many supporters feel should have gone to a player with greater skill.

The NBA has a bustling behind-the-scenes scene, prompting the Bucks to see potential in Thanasis. Maybe Milwaukee wanted a hardworking player who fits well with the team, or perhaps they aimed to keep Giannis, his younger brother, content. Nevertheless, he faced criticism compared to Caitlin, so improvement in upcoming games is essential.
