Gilbert Arenas believes the Lakers don’t deserve to be in the playoffs if Anthony Davis can’t win them games with the ‘easiest’ schedule irrespective of LeBron James’ absence

In a crucial period of the season, the Los Angeles Lakers find themselves in a precarious position. With an 11th-seed position in the Western Conference, the Lakers are on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs. However, hope still remains for the Lakers as they possess the easiest schedule in the NBA for the remaining games.

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas has weighed in on the matter, stating that it is a “playoffs or let it go” situation for the Lakers. According to him, the Lakers must qualify for the playoffs, with or without the presence of superstar LeBron James. Arenas believes that with Anthony Davis leading the charge and the easiest schedule left, the Lakers should have no excuses for not making the playoffs.

“If you can’t win without LeBron and you have Anthony Davis with the easiest schedule out of the other 29 teams, then let it go,” Arenas said. “Go ahead and start shipping out because there ain’t even no point. [LeBron] should be able to come back in April — one or two games left — to just make sure his ankle is fine. … Anthony Davis is supposed to be carrying [the Lakers] to the promised land.”

The Lakers will need to bring their A-game and capitalize on their easy schedule to secure their place in the playoffs. Lakers fans will be hoping that their team can rise to the occasion and make a strong push towards the postseason.

The Los Angeles Lakers are entering the final stretch of the regular season with only ten games remaining on their schedule. With five of those games being played away from the Crypto.com Arena, the Lakers are gearing up for some crucial matchups against teams with playoff aspirations.

While the Lakers have been struggling with injuries all season long, they’re hoping that Anthony Davis can step up and be the difference-maker in these upcoming games. The Lakers’ head coach, Darvin Ham, has expressed his confidence in Davis, stating that he is pain-free and ready to play at his best.

In particular, the Lakers are focusing on their matchups against the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Utah Jazz. Currently tied with a 1-1 record against the Thunder, the Lakers know that this upcoming game will be a crucial one. Meanwhile, the undefeated Jazz present an even greater challenge for the Lakers.

If the Lakers hope to make it to the playoffs, they’ll need Anthony Davis to be in his A-game for these crucial matchups. The Lakers will be relying on him heavily as they fight to avoid missing the playoffs for the second straight season. The fans are certainly expecting nothing less from the superstar forward.
