Gilbert Arenas is back in the NBA headlines. And, this time the reason isn’t him criticizing any superstar or team in the league. Instead, it’s just him giving an honest piece of advice to Ja Morant. The Memphis Grizzlies‘ all-star guard is once again a controversial name in the league and under the heat. As once again he was seen flashing a gun on Instagram Live. It’s just been a couple of months since he was suspended for 8 games when he first flashed a gun during an IG Live.

Ja Morant has already been through a lot of controversies during the past season like beating up a teen while having a gun on his waist, his trips to the strip clubs, his exchange with the cops at the mall, and obviously his love with flashing guns. Now, Ja Morant will surely pay a big price for his recent controversial actions. As the warning was already given and the impact now is very visible.

Gilbert Arenas and Ja Morant have some pages very similar in their totally different stories. As Gilbert Arenas was also under the heat for bringing guns to the locker room during his beef with Javaris Crittenton. He was even suspended for 2 seasons and later even ruined his career by not being a wise guy.

Recently, Gilbert Arenas appeared on JJ Redick’s podcast, “The Old Man and The Three,” where Gibby was asked to give some advice to the young controversial star. And, Gilbert Arenas threw out a blunt piece as he quoted: “Even though it’s not gonna be taken because he is 23 and on top of the world. The advice is understand your surrounding. Put people around you that have the same interest, and that same interest is protect your brand.”

Gilbert Arenas didn’t just stop there and went on to explain why it’s important for Ja Morant to change the people around him or the interest they hold. As Agent Zero added: “Even if it’s not your interest make it theirs. So you need people around you that’s willing to tell you no. That’s willing to ‘Hey you have taken too many shots put it down. It’s 1:00 in the club we have to leave.’ You need people around you that’s willing to be your conscience.”

Further, Gilbert Arenas took a jab at Ja Morant for not being wise after getting all the attention from the world and a bag. As he quoted: “At the age you are, just being realistic went to school 2-years, 23 all the money in the world… You’re more in your mind god-like, right? So with that being said you need people around you that can think like a real human. And, that can protect you until you are old enough to start thinking.”

Further, Gilbert Arenas even brought LeBron James into the conversation and gave him and his folks flowers for being around wisely and sticking with King James. It’s really high time for Ja Morant to change the situation around him or else, he’ll soon be out of the league and the biggest what if? in the league’s history.
