“F-tier” – Gilbert Arenas doubles down on ROASTING Team USA, claims ‘sorry a*s’ group should be better
Gilbert Arenas once again criticizes this year's Team USA's roster for the FIBA World Cup.

Gilbert Arenas has made his way back to the basketball headlines. And, once again the reason is his hate for this year’s Team USA’s FIBA World Cup roster. Arenas isn’t just happy with the level of talent Team USA has gathered this year. He isn’t wrong with his complaint as they really lack superstars on their team. But they still have the services of some great young talents from the league and deserve a chance.
Team USA features stars like Anthony Edwards, Mikal Bridges, Brandon Ingram, Jalen Brunson, and others. These are some of the biggest young talents from the league, who are on their way to establishing themselves as superstars in the future. But Gilbert Arenas considers the team nothing more than a “sorry-a**” group, as he said on his podcast earlier.
Now when everybody was expecting him to apologize for criticizing this year’s roster. Gilbert Arenas clowned all of them, as he doubles down his take. This time criticizing the roster, Gibby said: “As a group, this is an F-tier list compared to what we have… You said it was the C-?… When we are talking about C, we are talking about Jimmy Butler, Brown that will be considered a C group… Booker, Zion, and Ja Morant would be the B group. So this is the F group compared to what we have.”
Further, clowning the whole team and showing next to little respect to only Anthony Edwards, Gilbert added: “When you are grading, ‘alright, pick the best 12 [players in the NBA]’… This is the 5th [set of 12 players]… Only Anthony Edwards would be out of this group. He’ll be in the B or C group.”
Can Team USA prove Gilbert Arenas wrong?

Gilbert Arenas isn’t wrong doubting the guys who’ll be representing the country for this year’s FIBA World Cup. The team features no big name which has been established as a superstar in the basketball world. But that doesn’t take away anything from the young team full of talents they have gathered to win it all. And, Team USA isn’t disappointing and making its best efforts to get back on track.
Many doubted the team’s capability after they lost two consecutive matches against Team USA Select. But they have successfully bounced back as a unit during their exhibition game against Puerto Rico.
They bagged the blowout dub at 117-74. The first half was contested but the last two quarters were completely dominated by the Americans. 8 players recorded double digits score and everybody played like a unit. This has brought hopes of bagging the gold medal back and they may end up silencing Gilbert Arenas and others.
