“Definitely feeling the pressure now” Golden State Warriors point guard openly admits FEAR to defend their title next season

The Golden State Warriors have almost nothing to lose coming into the new season except for the title. They were heavily criticised prior to winning their fourth title but after shocking the entire world with what they were capable of doing, there should not be any pressure felt henceforth.

But that may not be entirely valid according to first time champion Jordan Poole, who also had an incredible run over the last two season especially. Recently, he admitted feeling a little nervous about defending the title but trusts his teammates who have the experience to work it out.
“Definitely feel like as if we have a target on our back being the defending champions and being the best team in the league last year and bringing our team back which is pretty much the same. We have enough chemistry with our team to just kind of play our game and then we know how talented we are and how connected we are.”
The Golden State Warriors get ready to rise up once again

Now that they are back at the top of the table, their goal is to maintain the work that they put in throughout the playoffs last season and keep consistently winning. Of course, Klay Thompson will be available for the entire season putting up 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists per game while firing from three-point range.
Poole is certainly another offensive threat for the Golden State Warriors as he has potential of scoring the ball at a high level. He averaged 18.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4 assists per game shooting 44.8% from the field consistently. Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggings both have incredible defensive skill that uplifted really Warriors in the post-season.
It all comes down to how well Stephen Curry is able to perform. Last season, he averaged 30 points per game before getting stung by injuries. During the playoffs he averaged 27.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game. Against the Boston Celtics he scored 31.2 points per game. Curry is certainly a focal point of success next season.
