Draymond Green is close to being somewhat of a staple for the Golden State Warriors. The player has been playing with the team ever since he was drafted and his presence quickly elevated the Warriors title hopes. He grew into a key defensive piece holding together the powerful offense they usually bring onto the table.
After winning his first championship with the team, during their second title run he won the league’s defensive player of the year award in 2017 averaging 2 steals and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 41.8% from the field, 30.8% from three and 70.9% from the line. This year he has not been any less for the team as the top facilitator. He is averaging 7.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 7 assists on a career high 52.5% from the field.
Warriors lose Game 3 against the Boston Celtics
It seemed as if the Warriors had an awful night on shooting. Both teams were close in statistics but where the Boston Celtics rose above was in making great shots throughout the night. The Dubs shot 46.2% from the field, 37.5% from the three-point arc and 86.7% from the line.
Stephen Curry led the team with 31 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists at the TD Garden last night. He shot 12-22 from the field and faced an injury during the game which will further be re-evaluated today. Klay Thompson had 25 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists for the night followed by 18 points from Andrew Wiggins. The Warriors big Draymond Green and Kevon Looney had a rough night barely being productive on either end.

The Celtics arena were not the friendliest to their guests of the night. Obviously, Draymond Green has been very analytical on his podcast sharing highlights of his finals matchup and how the Warriors plan on reacting. The fans at the Garden took their moment to chant, “F**k you Draymond!” Hazel Renee, his wife did not appreciate the gestures and clapped back on social media.
“Tough loss tonight BUT in NO WAY, shape or form should fans be allowed to chant obscenities at players! Are they not human? Is someone standing at your job saying off the wall things to you? The NBA has the audacity to have a whole code of conduct card every seat about fans and their behavior and how they could be ejected from a game or banned but a whole crowd/section/numerous people get to chant F**k YOU DRAYMOND or call him a B****or MF?! And nothing? Like that’s ok?! Warriors fans would NEVER!! My kids were at the game tonight hearing that mess! Very DISGUSTING of you little Celtics fans. Just shameful!”
