The Los Angeles Clippers picked their eleventh straight victory against the Los Angeles Lakers in Russell Westbrook‘s return to LA. Westbrook was on fire in the first half and was seen pointing and looking at LeBron James after making multiple shots. The King was seen with a shocked look on his face on the bench as Westbrook took over the game in the first quarter.
NBA Twitter went in on Lebron following the Laker’s loss, as he had to see yet another player leave Los Angeles and become better. “Westbrook out playing him to that’s crazy,” said one fan on Twitter as LeBron himself had a horrible first half for the Lakers getting off to a very slow start. The Lakers were down by 19 points at halftime in an embarrassing home loss.
Westbrook made two threes in the first quarter, one right in LeBron James’ face. Westbrook was going off while LeBron struggled, which made the Clippers and Russell Westbrook fans quite happy. Russ and Bron have maintained a good relationship, but they seem to have taken a tumble since Westbrook’s horrible stint in LA.

This is a rare NBA season wherein the lower seed in the Western Conference have a better chance of progressing than higher ones.
