Ice Cube has made his way back to the sporting world headlines. The reason isn’t the approaching Big 3 schedule. Instead, it’s the rapper calling out the National Basketball Association for working against his basketball league, “Big 3.” Ice Cube is the co-founder of the 3-on-3 pro basketball League, Big 3. The league will be starting its sixth season in some days and will be hooking up the fans with some basketball this summer.

Big 3 would be running for 10 weeks and even has an ASG game on the schedule. They are also thinking to open the gates by selling teams and dividing ownership. As of now, the league has 12 teams and everything was going well. But on Sunday, Ice Cube posted a video on Twitter expressing his displeasure towards the NBA and mainstream media because of the way his league, BIG 3 is being treated and advertised.

Ice Cube posted a video of his on Twitter and there he started off with a subtle jab at the NBA and then revealed it to be the league. He even claimed how the league is trying to mess with him and his league, BIG 3 for a while now. Ice Cube also mentioned, how things have heated up since he decided to hand out contracts.

While doing so Ice Cube quoted: “Some of you may not have realized that I’m not part of the club. And a lot of you listening to me right here and right now, you are not part of the club either. And what I realized with the club is, what makes them so mad is when you don’t want to be a part of the f****ng club. That pisses them off. What club am I talking about? I’m talking about the club of gatekeepers that we all got to deal with. You know who they are and they definitely know who they are.”

Further, detailing into the reasons and calling out the league, Ice Cube added: “Ever since I put out the contract with Black America they be fu****g with me… I expect that. You know I have been working on the BIG 3 for a lot of time. You know how they have been fu***** with me with that automated, plain, simple, and clear. What they have been doing you know. The NBA be fu****g with me.”

Ice Cube didn’t hold himself an inch back while calling out the NBA. As in the same video, he even accused the biggest basketball platform in the world, National Basketball Association to be working against his rising league, BIG 3. In the video Ice Cube added: “Now, a lot of people might say, ‘But, Cube, we want to work with the NBA.’ Really, I don’t give a (expletive) about working with the NBA. What I want them to do, when I say ‘Work with us,’ is to stop working against us. Stop doing that bullsh*t behind the screens we know what you doing.”

Ice Cube further even called out the mainstream media for not advertising and marketing his league. But he also mentioned how they don’t care about them and are rising on their own. Ice Cube has also sent a warning to the league, as he said: “So what am I gonna do to deal with this motherfu**** gatekeepers. So I am gonna go on a fu*k these gatekeepers podcast tour. And, I am gonna go talk with everybody.”

NBA can soon hit Ice Cube with a defamation lawsuit or we will end up with Ice Cube exposing the dirty actions of the league. Either way as the American rapper said it is going to be a crazy summer and now we wait for the podcast tour of Ice Cube.
