Former NBA player Iman Shumpert talked about the Los Angeles Lakers duo of Patrick Beverley and Russell Westbrook. Known to be fierce rivals in the NBA league, the pair now finds themselves playing for the same team. Iman stressed how professional the duo has been with their approach amid the punching scandal around the league. Iman was talking on the latest episode of ‘Vlad TV.’
Iman Shumpert said, “I feel like they probably get in practice Patrick Beverley and Russ could probably box and continue to practice. Everybody else probably be like whoa the energy crazy but they probably be regular with it because it’s just a competitor’s thing they don’t want to lose.”
Iman also talked about his clashes with NBA player J.R. Smith. He stated, “If I can’t get into it with you on the court, we ain’t probably not gonna end up being the closest on the team. Like me and JR used to get into it all the time. Elbows, get physical, curse each other out, throw the ball at me whatever like but we didn’t like lose control where it was like now everybody needs to be worried.”

Iman Shumpert recently celebrated his sixth wedding anniversary with his wife, Teyana Taylor, and bought her an expensive gift. The NBA star shared photos of the refurbished white Corvette and a bunch of roses he gifted his wife, along with a lengthy caption below the photo on his Instagram handle. Taylor and Shumpert tied the knot in 2016, sharing two kids, Junie and Rue. Iman wrote, “Men love the stories, the headaches and the delicacies you have to put into refurbishing an old school because once it’s done and back on the road you can truly appreciate the time and the times you have in it.”
He added,”It makes a statement to your inner self that no one could see this but you! Years ago I told you I wanted a family and you gave me that. I bent my knee to you and you accepted my headache and trauma. You’ve pumped my brakes and fixed me up every time I had bump or bruise. So yes, I could’ve gotten you a brand new car . . . but this car will symbolize a relationship that’s been through it all. The nostalgia of the Corvette you wanted is heard but I want you to dress this one up little by little like we’ve done in this 6 years and make sure this muff*cka ride forever! I love you Mrs Shumpert. Year 6.” Indeed, it might have been a very happy day for the couple.
