If Zach LaVine’s tenure with the Chicago Bulls is approaching its end, the Los Angeles Lakers are said to be the only franchise the experienced shooting guard would be keen to play for. Rumors surround the Lakers and the high-flying guard have always been around but it has never made too much noise until now.

Sean Deveney got this news by an Eastern Conference official. He said,“LaVine wants to go to the Lakers, that has been pretty clear for a while now. The agents want him to be in Los Angeles, he is a UCLA guy and they did some rattling about his contract last offseason, to kind of lay the groundwork if things blew up.”

LaVine “would prefer to be in L.A,” and it was no mystery that he desired to play for the Purple and Gold, a Western Conference official informed Deveney before he accepted his five-year, $215 million max contract with the Bulls during the summer. The Western Conference executive at the time also suggested trading LaVine for Anthony Davis. It’s difficult to picture the Lakers wanting to trade for Davis at this time considering how well he has performed while healthy.

After a report from Shams Charania and Darnell Mayberry that claimed LaVine and the Bulls,“are not seeing eye-to-eye,” rumors regarding LaVine being transferred have returned. The Bulls have had many team meetings in an effort to resolve their problems. In an effort to reconnect after being isolated the whole season, LaVine and DeRozan have also had one-on-one discussions.

The Bulls were in second spot in the Eastern Conference at this time last year. For the organization, this campaign so far has been nothing short of a catastrophe.

Chicago may consider shifting LaVine if it faces more difficulties. If that occurs, he may be an intriguing match in Los Angeles. The Lakers are now 12th in the Western Conference with a record of 13-17.

The Los Angeles Lakers are keeping tabs on one of the Chicago Bulls’ finest players. They are doing this in case they decide to dismantle the team to help them fix their recent difficult patch.

Zach LaVine would provide the Lakers with their “dreamiest returns” for the two future first-round draft selections they are willing to deal, according to Jake Fischer. General manager Rob Pelinka clarified what it would take for him to include the 2027 and 2029 first-round draft selections in a move amid rumors. LeBron James made a commitment to the Lakers by accepting a two-year contract deal, and Pelinka said he wants to make sure they treat him fairly.
