“He has never been viewed as a score-first player” Isiah Thomas applauds LeBron James for his scoring prowess
Isiah Thomas and LeBron James
LeBron James is undoubtedly one of the greatest players to ever play the sport of basketball or even step on the hardwood. He is 37 years old and entering his 20th NBA season and has enough fuel to run the game for some more years too. As he recently signed a two-year contract extension worth $97.1 million with the Lakers. Bron hasn’t really aged and has his prime continued as he still dominates his rivals. He is the face of the league and even in the G.O.A.T conversation as he really is living up to the nickname given to him by the fans even before he was drafted, “The Chosen One”. LeBron James has actually aged as a fine wine does. Since all these years he has just gotten better and improved his game in every possible manner and in the coming season he’s about to make some history.
LeBron James in the coming season has a chance of becoming NBA’s All-Time scoring leader and for that to happen he’ll have to pass Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s record. Right now he is just 1,325 points short from getting it done and stands at 37,602 points. These numbers may say that he’s a selfish guy who can just score as it isn’t really easy to top the charts when it comes to scoring. But honestly, LeBron James has never been viewed as a score-first player and throughout his ongoing career, he has been a pass-first guy who was successful in getting himself a stacked resume with championships.
But again he has the potential of being a great scorer too and even he doesn’t denies it. As the offense runs through LeBron James most of the times and he doesn’t let anyone down. Since now he’s a better playmaker, shooter and has got high IQ basketball which helps him dominate the league. Recently, 2x NBA Champion and Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas gave Bron his flowers for being the unique player he is.

Isiah Thomas on LeBron James’ unique game style and selfless scoring greats
Isiah Thomas appreciating and praising LeBron James for his greats and the big achievement he is about to have next season via a tweet from his personal Twitter handle wrote: “He will be the all time leader in points scored in the @nba and he has never been viewed as a score first player @KingJames”. This take by Isiah Thomas really makes the most possible sense and puts up a lot of respect for the Lakers’ superstar. As not being a score-first guy and still being able to lead the league in All-Time points scored is really an unthinkable achievement.
