Isiah Thomas isn’t riding with or even believing in the LeBron James led Los Angeles Lakers. As according to him they aren’t that great of competition and are an easy game to get rid of. Many agree with him especially after spectating their terrible last season where they didn’t even make it to the play-in tournament despite having many Hall of Famers and legends of the game on their roster. Isiah Thomas believes the story this coming season can stay the same as most of their pieces aren’t replaced even though they got a new coach and are making some adjustments in their roster as the offseason has brought in many signings and rumors for them which still continue.
The Big Three of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook didn’t really work for the Lakers and it was a complete mess for them due to chemistry issues and injuries. But still, the franchise is bright on the side with hopes of them working it out and bringing in some success. As Russell Westbrook who was scapegoated and placed on the trade radar throughout the last season is still a part of the team even though Kyrie Irving has chances of replacing him but still that can’t be claimed as the Nets won’t give him up easily. Isiah Thomas though thinks a bit differently as he isn’t respecting the Los Angeles Lakers in the western conference which is full of competition, battles and rivalries.
LeBron James and his veteran mates have been trolled and criticized every day by the fans around the globe. As they were supposed to be the best but nothing like that ever happened and they were just disappointing. Now once again they are repeating the same story even though they look better and have a different energy. As they drafted in and signed in some good pieces and are looking forward to giving the young guns some chance. But their Big Three isn’t a fan favorite anymore and is constantly hated around.
Isiah Thomas is a champion and a Hall of Famer and he knows what it takes to be there on the stage. So we can’t really disagree to it. But even he isn’t all right with his take as LeBron James is still the guy who can be a game changer and a healthy Anthony Davis with Russell Westbrook backing him up as the supporting cast can surely bring in a championship. So the coming season will make it all very clear and a trade around Russell Westbrook will just change it all and we will never know the real potential of that team.

According to a tweet from a Twitter user named Joey Linn, the “Bad Boy” Isiah Thomas speaking about the Lakers and the Western Conference quoted: “There’s no easy games in the Western Conference… If you’re looking at an easy game, maybe the Lakers.” This take of his has added more trolls and criticism for the Lakers. But fans are also trolling Isiah Thomas as he went with the Lakers and not the other teams like Sacramento Kings who deserve more of such shade while speaking about the western conference.
