J.R. Smith reveals subtle ‘hate’ for Stephen Curry by choosing Andrew Wiggins as the Finals MVP, Fans left unpleased

J.R. Smith, Andrew Wiggins and Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry is back in the NBA headlines. As even though the Greatest Shooter of All-Time is injured and sidelined for weeks. He is still getting discussed on the heated discussion table on Twitter. All of this is happening because of J.R. Smith. As the former NBA Champion and rival isn’t riding with Stephen Curry and his first Finals MVP award.
It all started with a tweet from J.R. Smith for his fans across Twitter. As calling out some people weird he wrote: “Y’all care about perspective way more than facts which makes y’all weird.”
A Twitter user commenting about his perspective on Stephen Curry and three-pointers then wrote: “My perspective on 3 pointers is that they’re inconsistently more efficient than 2’s. The data that supports my perspective is a scan of Steph Curry’s game logs. It’s a roller coaster of accuracy and he’s the best to ever do it. Explains him only having 1 FMVP out of 4. #facts.”

J.R. Smith’s take against Stephen Curry

The perspective of that user didn’t age well with J.R. Smith. As the former Cleveland Cavaliers’ star clapped back. Smith was probably prepared with a take on Stephen Curry and his recent heroics where he won his fourth championship and first-ever FMVP.
So tweeting back and firing a shot against Stephen Curry, J.R. wrote: “Well 1! Iggy had a better finals offense and defense in the first one and KD was KD for 2 so that only leaves the one that he was warned and no disrespect to him but to me Wiggins would have won the last one. ??♂️ but that’s just me.”

Fans troll and criticize J.R. Smith for unnecessarily hating on Stephen Curry

J.R. Smith is not all wrong with his take. As the part where he discussed about the two FMVPs, Kevin Durant bagged with the Warriors is very correct. But him saying Iggy was better on both the offensive and defensive end is a bit senseless. The defensive praises can be considered. But talking about the offensive end it was none but Stephen Curry himself doing it all.
The fans are throwing some well-deserved shade at J.R. Smith for bringing Andrew Wiggins to the conversation against FMVP Stephen Curry. As everyone who knows how basketball works will agree with Curry getting the FMVP award and the rest are nothing but haters. You can find some of the many reactions posted by fans here below:
Stephen Curry though cares the least about such takes and won’t even respond to this unnecessary hate. But he’ll surely send out a eye-opening and jaw-dropping response by balling out on the floor with his unreal and godly shooting skills. Chef is already progressing and healing his shoulder injury to be back on the floor.
