JA Morant in action against the Timberwolves
Memphis Grizzlies star guard JA Morant after getting his team the much need victory against the Timberwolves in Game 5, delivers a motivational message to fans while on his way to the locker room on Tuesday Night.
The 5th game of the series between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Memphis Grizzlies was a very crucial game, as the winner will not only lead but also gets a mental advantage, that they are just one win away from winning the series to qualify for the second round of the postseason. Although the game was intense between both the teams, the Grizzlies still managed to defeat the Timberwolves by 111-109 all because of Morant.
The Memphis star guard scored 30 points, 13 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals, where he was also 9-22 from the field, his only three-pointer came when only 1:03 minutes were remaining at end of the quarter. Although the former ROTY took a slow start in the first half of the game, Morant still turned the table of the game in Grizzlies favor in the last quarter.
In the 4th quarter, Morant exploded with 18 points out of his overall 30 points, he was also 90% successful from free throws and went 9-10. With his exceptional play in the last quarter. he managed to outscore the Timberwolves and took the lead of 3-2 in the series and the Grizzlies are now just one winning game away from sweeping the Minnesota Timberwolves from round one.

As the game ended, the Grizzlies star Morant was all-hyped and excited after winning the game and on his way to the locker room, he emphasized taking the series away from the hands of wolves and also explained that he hasn’t shown his best performance and will do it in the next game to move further in the postseason.
He said, “One more I’m saving my greatest for that, one more win man one more but big Memphis though”

“Last three games, we haven’t played our basketball, wasn’t knocking down shots but you know we battle, me personally man, I’m giving it my all. Man,” said Morant in the postgame conference. “Ready lay down!”
