Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies have been playing their hearts out every day to earn their living. The first-round series between them and the Minnesota Timberwolves have been nothing short of exciting to watch this entire stretch of games. The Grizzlies have managed to pull off a victory to close out the highly intense first round.
Headed further into the playoffs, the Grizzlies will face one of their hardest matchups yet, the Golden State Warriors. The dub nation has been on a relentless run lately to find their way into another title shot. Memphis is a close chance of winning being on the other side of the board. Ja Morant and the Grizzlies upset the Wolves in Game 6
From the start till the finish of the game, both teams had put their all into winning the game. Memphis had an amazing 40-22 run in the final quarter of the game which helped to take over. They shot 46% from the field, 45.5% from three making 15 on 33 attempts, and 79.2% from the line. The Wolves recorded better defense with 6 blocks, and 12 steals on 11 turnovers.
Desmond Bane once again helps on offense finishing 23 points along with 7 rebounds. Ja Morant recorded a double-double on 17 points with 8 rebounds and 11 assists going only 4-14 from the field last night. After a long hard struggle, the Wolves’ season came to an end as Anthony Edwards finished with 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Karl Anthony-Towns had just 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Both teams had played past all expectations last night but only one was able to get the better shot at acquiring the title. Out of excitement, Ja Morant walked along with his teammate Brandon Clarke and proceed to dance on the logo at half-court. This in any other scenario would have the player a lot of heat but both teams had left everything on the court.
Patrick Beverley showed the entire Grizzlies his gratitude while congratulating them. Morant spoke on his team’s comeback from game one saying, “Physically, mentally, this series was battle. Obviously, the wins were pretty ugly outside of Game 2, but we got it done.”
