The 2022-23 NBA season has finally come to an end. With the Denver Nuggets lifting their first-ever championship, the dominating season of the Nuggets has concluded with a happy ending. However, all eyes are now on Ja Morant, who is miles away from the championship action. The entire NBA fraternity now awaits the verdict on Ja Morant after the NBA conducted an investigation. The league investigated the guard and the gun-totling incident that he was involved twice in three months.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver had revealed earlier that the league had discovered additional information pertaining to the case. However, it was unanimously decided by the league and the Player’s Association, that the details be revealed after the Finals ended. This was to ensure that the attention and spotlight is not taken away by the teams and players competing for the title. Now that the Finals are done and dusted, all eyes are toward Commissioner Silver.

Ja Morant’s crackdown comes after the guard was seen flashing a gun on Instagram Live. Although Morant was not on his own social media handle, he was featured on a friend’s live stream. The two were sitting in a car listening to music when briefly the camera panned towards Morant holding a gun. His friend then quickly turned the camera away. However, the momentary glance was enough to land the guard in trouble.

There’s no doubt that Ja Morant has been under tremendous criticism with a truckload of trolls lately. However, many fans have taken to Twitter as they mock the guard while speculating about his punishment. Here are a few reactions from Twitter.

Earlier, Ja Morant was seen flashing a gun on his own Instagram Live stream. He was in a club in Denver as he was with his team to play in town. Morant was intoxicated in the video and was sentenced to an eight-game suspension without pay. This time around, however, fans believe that the penalty would be much more serious.
