James Harden, the shooting guard of the Philadelphia 76ers, is no longer interested in playing for the team. Recently, Harden removed “NBA Player for the Philadelphia 76ers” and the location of Philadelphia, PA, from his Twitter account. Harden is looking for a new team. After removing the Philadelphia 76ers name from his Twitter account, he simply wrote about his business details on his account. Harden also removed the same information from his Instagram account, making it obvious that he wants to leave the Philadelphia 76ers in a very short time.

It would appear that the association between the Philadelphia 76ers and “The Beard” has been discontinued. The 2018 NBA MVP has made a request to be traded and has his sights set on joining the Los Angeles Clippers, even though he has already activated his player option to stay with the team and receive the $35.6 million salary.

If the 76ers decide to force Harden to stay because they aren’t ready to move him to the Los Angeles Clippers, they might simply end up affecting the team. The contract-expiring player might simply quit any team he joins in the summer because no other team will be willing to part with any genuine benefits for him.

In a recent interview with 97.5 The Fanatic, Daryl Morey, President of the Philadelphia 76ers, made a statement about the James Harden trade. He said that Harden will be traded when the 76ers get a very good player in his place.

“We’re just not going to do it if we don’t either acquire a really excellent player or something that we can develop into a very good player. James’s change of heart would make us all very happy. We are endeavoring to honor his request to be traded at this time,” said Morey.

A deal doesn’t seem to be near with previous rumors claiming that the Los Angeles Clippers were leading the way to sign Harden in a trade and the All-Star guard’s shared desire to join the Los Angeles team. According to Morey’s interview, it might take some time before Harden is moved to anyone.

Harden didn’t only expect Daryl Morey to offer him an ongoing extension when he decided to enter the final year of his contract. After last year’s setback, the Sixers wanted to explore every option for improving their squad.

Removing the 76ers’ details from his Instagram and Twitter accounts directly shows that he will leave the 76ers in a short time. Harden wanted a trade. He apparently wants to play for the Los Angeles Clippers.
