James Harden does not seem to be leaving the news podium as he has yet again made news, although due to something unrelated to Basketball. During his recent Adidas Tour visit to China, James Harden was left stunned when something happened when he made an appearance on a popular Chinese streamer, which showed how crazily popular he is in the Chinese land.
His popularity is fuelled even more by the recent comments he made against the Philadephia 76ers President, Daryl Morey, where he called him a “liar” and made his intentions clear of not playing for the Philadelphia 76ers. Harden, on the stream, along with the streamer, to test how much people support him in China, told the people to buy his wine and in under 5 seconds, the Beard’s wine company, “J-Harden Wines” sold more than 10,000 bottles, a number which later rose to 13,000.
Given how much the Chinese hate Daryl Morey due to his comments against the Chinese Government, it is not a surprise that people love someone who is publicly hating Morey. The Beard was also praised by Andre Igadoula, as Igadoula hypothesized something unexpected.
James Harden’s elation after the bottles were sold

As James Harden checked the sales numbers in disbelief, he could not fathom what he saw. According to reports, more than 10,000 bottles were sold in less than five seconds. The number, already extremely big, climbed up to 13,000 bottles amounting to $179,900.
Harden, in celebration of the same, told the fans that he loves them, gesturing a heart symbol with his hands. Then he proceeded to do a cartwheel, which was met with hooting and cheers from the people that can be seen in the live stream.
Ever since Harden was in Houston, his popularity grew as he showed support to the Chinese when Daryl Morey lashed out against the Government. It has been 3 years since then, but his popularity does not seem to lessen. The “J-Harden Wines” was launched by Harden in 2022, and claimed to bring “excitement to the industry and turn some heads”. Well, whether or not he has been successful with his venture in other parts of the world, the Chinese have shown great acceptance to his brand.
