To Jayson Tatum… Game recognize game. HUGE FAN! Straight cash homie.
Moss’s action, which echoed the thoughts of many fans, demonstrated how intertwined the sports world is, showing how true admiration can cross boundaries between different sporting domains and skill acknowledgment having no boundaries.
Tatum recently finished his best season as a pro. In 2022–23, the player who was previously selected third overall achieved career-highs in points (30.1), rebounds (8.8), and assists (4.6). Grant Williams teases Jayson Tatum about potentially ‘crying’ to referees in Celtics-Mavs match next season
Two days after Grant Williams was traded to the Dallas Mavericks, some humorous banter between the former teammates, Jayson Tatum and Williams was captured by Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe. They joked about how they would meet as opponents for the first time in their professional careers on the court.

Williams was made fun of by Tatum, who said:
I'm gonna bust your [butt] when we play Dallas.
Williams answered with assurance, saying:
You think? You cannot turn left. And after I physically abuse you, you'll go cry in front of the referees.
As teammates since 2019, Williams and Tatum had grown close, forming a fraternal friendship centered on humor and sarcasm. Throughout the 2022–23 season, Williams averaged 8.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 79 games, making him a vital member of the Boston Celtics.
Multiple second-round picks were acquired by the Celtics as part of the sign-and-trade transaction that moved Williams to the Mavericks. Williams’ NBA career reached a new height when he signed a lucrative four-year, $54 million contract with the Mavericks after the trade.
