Boston CelticsJayson Tatum accidentally broke his teammate Jaylen Brown’s after colliding with each other in a game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. According to the reports, Brown suffered a facial fracture. Following the incident, Tatum said that he would have to buy his teammate a car to compensate. Both the stars have been nothing but spectacular for their team as the Celtics remain the top team in the league. He will be out for at least a week following the injury.

Speaking to the media after the incident, Tatum said that he felt terrible after the accident and he would buy him a mask or even a car if necessary. “I feel like I need to buy him a car or something,” Tatum said via Souichi Terada of Mass Live. “First time all season me and him both crash from the corner, and I end up elbowing him in the face. Obviously, I feel terrible, a freak accident. But whether it’s a mask or buying him a car, I think I got it,” he added.

With 1.30 remaining in the 2nd quarter, both players went for the rebound after Brown missed a three-point attempt from the corner. Tatum caught his teammate’s face while rebounding the ball. Shams Charania from the Athletic reported that Brown had suffered a facial fracture following a scary in-game collision. The hurt Celtics’ star went to the locker room, and it was announced shortly that he had suffered a “face contusion.”
