Jeremy Lin decides to commit to the CBA full time
Jeremy Lin went undrafted in 2010 but attended the Summer League with the Dallas Mavericks. His thin frame landed a huge question on his ability to play physical ball. Eventually, he received offers from the Los Angeles Lakers and other teams. Lin decided to sign a two-year deal with the Golden State Warriors to play alongside Stephen Curry.
A eventually he would move into the D-League and eventually found his way playing for the Chinese Basketball Association. By the start of the 2011-12 season, the New York Knicks signed him and this was the year he gave birth to Linsanity. Those 10 games changes the entire perspective the world viewed him in averaging 22.5 points and 8.7 assists per game from 14.6 points and 3.1 assists. He dominated players like LeBron James and Dwyane Wade as well.
The followers years had is switching teams on a regularly from the Houston Rockets to the Brooklyn Nets. He also had the opportunity to play an entire season with the legend Kobe Bryant on the Los Angeles Lakers. One famous incident highlighted Lin going against orders of the Mamba which had never happened before.
Jeremy Lin’s career in China began with the Dongguan Leopards earlier in 2010. Ever since then, he played with the NBA until 2019. After the season, he signed with the Beijing Ducks and became a CBA All-Star which was the first selection of its kind in his career. Since his success has been tremendous in China, the CBA All-Star recently made an official announcement to sign a new contract with the Guangzhou Loong Lions.
