“F*ck You and Joel Embiid” Jimmy Butler gets utterly frustrated as ‘LOVE’ PJ Tucker ditches Heat for Sixers
It seemed like a new bromance started in Miami last year when Jimmy Butler and PJ Tucker evidently fell in ‘love’ with each other clutch traits in the playoffs. With Miami Heat once again being the underdog to make their way into the Eastern Conference Finals, they ran out of gas in order to emerge past Boston Celtics in Game 7.
With the chance to contest in the NBA Finals being snatched from their clutches, PJ Tucker has decided to run-it-back, but not with the Heat but Joel Embiid’s Philadelphia 76ers. Being as livid as ever, Jimmy Butler revealed his frustration when PJ Tucker posted an emotional message for the Heat fans.
Jimmy Butler trolls PJ Tucker in emotional farewell message
Tucker wrote in his post on Instagram, “What a year…..True underdogs that really got it out the mud and went against all odds. Miami you will forever be my home and heat nation i can’t thank you guys enough for the love you’ve shown all year. Though our journey together has come to an end the love will forever remain the same.”
In typical Jimmy Butler fashion, the Heat frontman responded with a hilarious dig not just at Tucker but also his former teammate on the Sixers in Joel Embiid. “F–k you and Joel Embiid yeah I brought him into this.”
To those who are not aware, the Philadelphia 76ers opted to shell out some serious coin on a multi-year deal for veteran defender, Tucker, a dollar amount the savvy Miami Heat front office didn’t want to match. On the other hand, Miami Heat who consist of Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, Jimmy Butler is currently in a strong pursuit to acquire Kevin Durant after he requested a trade out of Brooklyn.
Knowing that the spoken off team will be requiring to give up plenty in order to acquire the former NBA Champ, it will be interesting to witness the trade drama in the coming weeks. Will we witness the KD and Butler together in action in the 2022-23 season? Remains to be seen.
