The way Jimmy Butler’s Miami Heat started the Game 2 showdown vs Boston Celtics, many would have thought that the home team are on their way to take an even further lead. But courtesy to a 17-0 run in the first quarter, the Celtics thumped Heat throughout the course of four quarters and level the series 1-1.

Not only did Miami Heat equalized the series, but they managed to secure a road win as well. This led to Jimmy Butler being ever so vocal on why he would not let this embarrassing loss get away from his memory. Speaking to the reporters after the game, Butler emphasized on what this loss means to the team. And how should they bounce back after a 25-point thumping at home.

Instead of saying that they need to move on, Jimmy Butler refused. According to him, the Miami Heat should use this game as fuel, as motivation for the next game.

“You do gotta move on, but I don’t like to move on from this because it has to hurt. They tried to embarrass us. They did embarrass us. We gotta realize that, use it as fuel.”

Butler brings up a great point here. The Heat were at home, in front of one of the most passionate fanbases in all of basketball. And yet, they delivered a near-goose egg against the Celtics. Every time they looked like they were going to come back, the Cs were there to stuff any shenanigans from them. Put simply, it was complete and utter domination from the visiting squad.

That being said, the Miami Heat do seem to be in a little bit of trouble. On one hand where Kyle Lowry is yet to make him comeback, PJ Tucker might be ruled out for the upcoming game after sustaining an injury in Game 2. How will Butler, Adebayo and Co. Bounce back and will they be able to once again taken the lead in the EC Final series? Remains to be seen as the playoff festivity continues.
