Friday saw the Miami Heat, led by Jimmy Butler, square off against the New Orleans Pelicans in a highly awaited cross-conference matchup. Although the Heat initially dominated the game, allowing the Pelicans to claw back into contention in the second quarter, the third quarter remained closely contested. However, the fourth quarter took a swift and chaotic turn, as the game quickly spiraled out of control for both teams.

Kevin Love committed a foul on Zion Williamson of the Pelicans, leading to a skirmish between Naji Marshall and Butler. Tensions escalated when Marshall grabbed Butler by the throat, prompting the veteran star to confront Marshall as others intervened to separate them.

In total, four players were ejected from the game. However, as Butler headed back to the locker room, he hyped up Heat fans by interacting with them. Videos showing him walking off the court while engaging with the crowd were posted on social media, which stirred up a frenzy among fans.
