“Don’t let the success get to your head” Joel Embiid wants to fight Tyrese Maxey for selfish play vs Heat

Joel Embiid, James Harden and Tyrese Maxey
With the Ben Simmons saga being draining as possible for the Philadelphia 76ers, the only positive that came out of it was young and dynamic Tyrese Maxey. Who indeed got ample amount of minutes to showcase his true talent. Given the opportunity Maxey was able to establish himself as a strong attacking supporter to Joel Embiid and even went onto lead the time on numerous occasions.
In Game 3 of Heat vs Sixers semi-final series, Tyrese Maxey perhaps got too eager and had to be brought back to reality by much-more experienced and team leader Joel Embiid. Towards the end of the second quarter Embiid passed the ball to Maxey, who ran down the court to score an easy layup but ended up missing the bucket. Take a look at the video down below-

Joel Embiid gets angry on teammate Tyrese Maxey
The Philadelphia 76ers have finally made their way back into the semi-final series against Erik Spoelstra’s Miami Heat. With star Joel Embiid returning, the chemistry of the entire was undoubtedly better. While Maxey led the scoring chart alongside Danny Green with 21 points, Embiid and Harden were impressive as well with their tally of 18 and 17 points.

Moreover, Miami Heat found themselves massively below-par as only Jimmy Butler could score efficiently on the sheet with game-high 33 points. Yet the away team lost by a 20-point margin. Sixers have a tough task cut-out on their hands, with the recovery to make in the next game. Given that Joel Embiid is back in the team, his minutes need to be restricted if the Philadelphia 76ers want his best efficiency on the court.

Who comes out on top remains to be seen in Game 4 as both Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers will be looking to start strong form the very first quarter. A win for the home team would ensure the series being equalized. While a road win for Jimmy Butler, Heat would send Sixers over the edge of the cliff. What drama awaits, remains to be seen as all speculations will be answered in a couple of days’ time.
