Utah Jazz star Jordan Clarkson was slapped with $15000 for inappropriate behavior from the star during his game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Jazz guard was seen throwing his headband during the final seconds of the game vs the Blazers. As Jerami Grant was shooting free throws from the charity line, frustrated Clarkson removed his band and threw into Vivint Arena stands with the Trail Blazers leading in the final seconds of the game.

However, many believe that the fine on Clarkson was unnecessary as it didn’t hit nor harm any individual in the stands. The 30-year-old former Cavalier was frustrated with the calls made by the refs during the game. One of which included a hard foul on Clarkson himself while he was going for a layup. What looked like a flagrant foul, the refs did not only give no flagrant foul on the play but also refused to give even a common foul on the play.

It was not only Clarkson who was fined for inappropriate behavior on Monday. Minnesota Timberwolves star D’Angelo Russell was also fined by the NBA on Monday. Russell was awarded a $20,000 fine for using inappropriate language at the officials during the game. The Wolves lost to the Thunder on Saturday. Ja Morant and Draymond Green have also been recently fined for their obscene language and inappropriate behaviors during the game.
