Kanye West and Kim Kardashian‘s daughter North West has been in the spotlight for things most celebrities do. But for the first time, she has come to the limelight for her relation to the sport of basketball. North released a video on her official TikTok account showing her dribbling an official NBA ball in her bedroom. The basketball videos on her account have been viewed over 18 million times. Basketball fans could not contain their reactions after watching the young girl show incredible ball-handling skills.

North, the oldest daughter of West and Kim Kardashian is 10 years old. For someone that young to show off that level of dribbling skills with a full-size basketball is generally going to leave people in shock. But for a celebrity child to do that is unheard of. North dribbled the ball between both hands and even passed a cross pass between her legs. That level of dribbling is only seen from someone who has skill and has practiced well.

Kim Kardashian is the most famous celebrity in America and Kanye West is a Grammy Award-winning musician. To have them as her parents might mean North has skills in both music and fashion. She has displayed both those skills in her social media accounts before. Those make up the bulk of her posts. Which is why, no one anticipated such high-level basketball skills.

It should be noted that North West does play Lower School basketball at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth. The same school where the face of basketball LeBron James‘ sons Bronny and Bryce developed themselves. So, playing in an illustrious school with a solid basketball program has surely helped North develop those skills.

As soon as the videos of North West dribbling the ball hit the internet, it brought a wave of reactions from fans on social media. Some were of high praise for the young girl who could dribble so well. Others were flat-out sarcastic, owing to the Kardashian family’s position in society.
