“Terrible on our defense game,” Kawhi Leonard gets BRUTALLY honest on Clippers team as they edge closer to playoffs

Despite their win against the Detroit Pistons on Friday, Clipper’s forward, Kawhi Leonard seemed dissatisfied with the team’s performance. The team has a record of (32-15) and is currently the 3rd best team in the Western Conference rankings.
However, after being asked about what the team needs to improve during a post-game interview, Leonard expressed disappointment regarding the team’s defense.
Leonard responded,
It's between our ears. Tonight we were terrible on our defensive game. I feel like we've been running our games off of talent, even our offensive game. It's a lot of slow pace, and it starts with our defense.
Leonard also mentioned that the team needs to start setting goals for themselves ahead of the playoffs. He feels that the last few games have been based on the talent of the team and they need to focus more on the execution.

On Wednesday, against the Washington Wizards, Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard’s unstoppable performance led the team to a 125-109 victory. Leonard scored 31 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists and scored more points than any other player during the game in just 30 minutes.
The Clippers outscored the Wizards outfit by 21 points in the third quarter. James Harden also contributed to the team’s win with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. This win gave the Clippers the record of (31-15).
The Los Angeles Clippers have won 23 of their last 28 games. At the start of this season, the Clippers were not considered championship contenders. But after December, they are looking like a team that is completely re-energized.
Leonard scored 33 points in 32 minutes against The Detroit Pistons on Friday as well. In this win, Russell Westbrook became the 25th player in NBA history to score 25,000 career points.
