Since winning the NBA Championship in 2016, Cleveland Cavaliers supporters have had nothing to cheer about. They have high expectations for this season though, after signing Donovan Mitchell from the Utah Jazz. however, Kendrick Perkins doesn’t feel the same way.
Kendrick Perkins recently witnessed the Cleveland Cavaliers’ difficult loss to the Miami Heat. The Cavs gave it their all but still lost to the Heat 100-97. Perk wasn’t happy with what he witnessed from his old team, and he wasn’t afraid to express his displeasure on Twitter following the defeat.
“I’m Legit worried about the Cavs. They are going to win regular season games because they have a lot of talent… but their inconsistency on both ends of the floor is going to be the reason they’re going to be a 1st round exit!!! Carry the hell on…” Perkins tweeted.
They have had an inconsistent season, October saw the Cleveland Cavaliers go 5-1, November saw them go 9-7, and December saw them go 9-6. After Tuesday’s defeat, they have an 8-8 January record. They last had a two-game winning streak about four weeks ago.

The game was back and forth between the two teams the entire time, but in the end, the Heat won 100-97. Following a victory over the LA Clippers in which they made 60.6 percent of their 3-point attempts, the Cavaliers shot just 27.5 percent against Miami. From distance, the Heat shot 45.2 percent.
