“I appreciate the compliments but I disagree with what u said about double teams that’s all” Kevin Durant and Draymond Green go back and forth on Twitter in a public banter

Kevin Durant and Draymond Green are back in the NBA headlines as they are going against each other discussing their Finals runs together and how Stephen Curry still doesn’t have any Finals MVPs because of double-teams. While the Brooklyn Nets star who left the Golden State Warriors to prove himself has two rings and two Finals MVPs. The topic of Stephen Curry having to validate himself for his greats is already trending and many are also comparing him and ranking him ahead of KD in the conversation. So Draymond Green favoring the Chef and defending him just made it all spiced up for Kevin Durant. As tweets full of fuel were out on Twitter from the Nets’ star after the video clip of the former MVP at Colin Cowherd’s podcast went viral on the internet.

Draymond Green in the podcast discussing Stephen Curry not winning any Finals MVPs brought Kevin Durant into the conversation and quoted: “Steph Curry comes down and he calls for a pick and roll every time nobody is going to say a word including Kevin Durant himself. That’s not who he is that’s not what he does… Stephen Curry got double-teamed probably seven times the amount that KD did in the given series… elite teams with elite defenders…Because this guy (KD) won a Finals MVP that must be the guy who is doing x,y, and z…If you analyze the game then under no circumstances you’ll say that Steph Curry needs a Finals MVP to validate who he is.”

These cruel words of Draymond Green didn’t age well for Kevin Durant even though many believe those are straight facts the Nets star disagreed. As a fan asking for the podcast being true got a reply from KD himself in a tweet where he wrote: “From my view of it, this is 100% false…” The Nets’ star has really taken that emotionally probably because he is even replying to the fans who are trying to get a piece of it. Draymond Green responds back to Kevin Durant’s tweet claiming the take to be 100% false

Draymond Green has responded back to Kevin Durant’s tweet and wrote that KD has got it all wrong and that’s not what he really meant. As in the tweet, the former DPOY wrote: “You have to learn to listen to full takes and not snippets before you get baited into tweeting Champ.” Many believe Draymond Green is right this time even with the take and the tweet as KD has got it all wrong and is even not ready to believe the reality.
