Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving register this unfortunate record only seen for the first time in 39 years as Luka Doncic blows the Nets out
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have been really very unfortunate in the recent days. As their offensive greats aren’t enough to carry the Brooklyn Nets across the line. As they aren’t able to win any games and right now are maintaining a 1-4 record. Both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have been godlike on the offensive end and had their rivals speechless with their heroics but the Nets aren’t improving and aren’t able to land on the fortunate winning end.
And, now they are making big-time records for being great on the scoring end and are still losing the games. As in the last three games both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have got some big numbers on the offensive side. And, each of them has a combined score of more than 100 points.
As Kevin Durant dropped 33 points against the Milwaukee Bucks, 37 points against the Memphis Grizzlies and 37 points against the Dallas Mavericks. Which gets him at a combined score of 107 points over the course of the last three games. The story is very same for Kyrie Irving too. As he dropped 27 points against the Bucks, 37 points against the Grizzlies and 39 against the Mavericks. Which gets him at a combined score of 103 points.
But they are unfortunate to have it registered under their name. As it comes along with the three games they have lost consecutively. They are the second pair to do so and the first one in the past 39 years as reported by ESPN Stats & Info. The first duo to be this unfortunate was of Kiki Vandeweghe and Alex English in 1983 for the Denver Nuggets.

Can Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving lead the Brooklyn Nets across?
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are already trying to lead the Brooklyn Nets across. And, are doing possibly everything they can to help the team Excel and win. But they are terrible on the defensive end and even their great offensive efforts aren’t enough for the team to win. And, the unfortunate record they recently got registered under their name is a proof of it.
The Nets now have to improve on a serious note. And, it’s high time for Ben Simmons to wake up and back up Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. As the team is falling short on the defensive end which is selling most of their games away. Also, KD and Uncle Drew now basically have to carry the team while building around each other. The team also needs a veteran who can get the things going, especially with the young bench.
