Brooklyn Nets confirm Kevin Durant is staying for another season

As the Nets have not been able to sort out a deal, Kevin Durant reconsidered running it back with the team alongside Kyrie Irving. Sean Marks released a statement of behalf of the team saying, “Steve Nash and I, together with Joe Tsi and Clara Wu Tsai, met with Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman (Durant’s manager) in Los Angeles yesterday.”

“We have agreed to move forward with our partnership. We are focusing on basketball, with one collective goal in mind: building a lasting franchise to bring a championship to Brooklyn.” Earlier, KD gave Tsai an ultimatum asking him to choose him over his valued coaching staff and front office. Tsai decided to show his support towards the well being of his franchise.

The Nets will be a championship caliber team if all players are healthy and fully committed to it. Ben Simmons for one will boost the teams defensive lacking which caused their first round sweep.
