It would certainly feel like a punch in the gut to lose by a single point while making last-minute plays to obtain the lead. Kevin Durant’s face during the post-game press conference would say it all. He commented on the loss saying, “They still sting, you know? Even though we know it’s a series, they sting and you wanna move past it… still look at film from this one but move past it and get ready for Game 2.”

“It’s a scramble play, they made a couple passes, they was able to find a little crease there at the end, it was a hat-quick play,” said Durant on the insane play the Celtics were able to pull off. The veteran forward admitted that this was one of the worst feeling moments he has had despite all similar situations he has been in. Last night was a nightmare, but the Nets will get a shot at redemption on Wednesday night at the TD Garden.
