“They can’t guard senior citizens” Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving roasted by ex-teammate Kendrick Perkins

Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and Kendrick Perkins
Former NBA player Kendrick Perkins has shown disappointment with the defensive end of the Brooklyn Nets, which played against the Dallas Mavericks. He questioned the defensive strategies of the team even though they had a perfect outing in the offense. Big Perk played with Kevin Durant during his OKC days and has shared the floor with Kyrie Irving during his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers. And, now we have him calling out his former teammates for messing up the game by being terrible on the defensive end.
Kendrick Perkins tweeted, “I guess the Nets are okay with people giving them that work on a nightly basis. I mean they can’t guard senior citizens in a Nursing Home at recess!!! Carry the hell on… Oh btw that Luka is just SPECIAL!” Perkins made a point to appreciate the Mavs star Luka Doncic who scored 41 points, 14 assists, 11 rebounds, and drilled three 3-pointers. On the other hand, he criticized the superstar duo even if they managed to combine for a mind-blowing 76 points.
Perkins is indeed enjoying seeing the Nets suffer. When the Nets head coach Steve Nash got himself ejected from the game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Kendrick said that Nash got kicked out of the game to avoid making tactical changes in the fourth period. The Mavs quickly racked up over a hundred points in the game. But the offensive run of the Nets had them alive. If they had performed poorly in both departments, they would have been easily blown away early in the game.
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving make history on the offensive end but lose to the Grizzlies

The Nets duo of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, along with the Memphis Grizzlies star duo of Desmond Bane, and Ja Morant, recently made NBA history. When the Brooklyn Nets took on the Memphis Grizzlies, these four players almost managed to score around 150 points.
Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant scored a total of 74, while Desmond Bane and Ja Morant scored a total of 76 points. It was the first time in NBA history that four players scored at least 35 points in a regulation game. Well, these stats are impressive.
The Memphis duo of Ja Morant and Desmond Bane are often considered equal to the Nets duo of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. The duo powered the Grizzlies to a win over the Nets with a score-line of 134-124. On the other hand, even if Kevin and Kyrie perform, it still isn’t enough to take their team over the line.
