In a recent exclusive interview with Fox Sports, Kevin Durant opened up about his time in the NBA and his choices that led him to where he is today. Durant, who joined the Brooklyn Nets in 2019 alongside Kyrie Irving, denied any regrets about leaving the Golden State Warriors superteam.
Durant’s decision to join the Nets was entirely his own, and he has no regrets about forming a dynamic duo with Irving. Although the Warriors won an NBA Championship after his departure, Durant remains unbothered.
“I don’t regret anything I do,” said Durant. “I feel like I get the most out of myself every time I step on the floor. So, it’s like regardless of the results and the wins and losses, I can live with that part of it. I would never say anything I do is a failure.

Durant’s Chance at Winning an NBA Championship with the Phoenix Suns
The Phoenix Suns have remained unbeaten in the eight games that Kevin Durant has played for them since his trade earlier this season. With Durant now joining the Big 4 of the Suns, consisting of Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton, the team finished the regular season as the fourth seed in the Western Conference, having won 45 out of 82 games played.
Durant has high hopes for the Suns, and he believes that they have all the vital pieces to win the 2023 NBA Championship. However, if the Suns fail to live up to those expectations, it could bring a lot of hate towards the organization.
The Suns have been on a roll this season, and Durant’s addition has only made them stronger. With his talent and experience, Durant could be the missing piece that the Suns need to win their first NBA Championship.
The Suns’ Big 4 has proven to be a force to be reckoned with, and they have the potential to dominate the league. Durant’s chemistry with Paul, Booker, and Ayton has been impressive, and the Suns have been a joy to watch.
It remains to be seen if the Suns will fulfill Durant’s prophecy and win the NBA Championship, but one thing is for sure: Durant has no regrets about his career choices, and he will continue to give his all on the court, regardless of the outcome.
