LeBron James, Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant are unquestionably the most popular players in the NBA ever. Mike Brown, the head coach of the Sacramento Kings, was asked to comment on the unchangeable GOAT debate in a recent interview with HoopsHype. LeBron James and Michael Jordan were the only available candidates, but Brown said it makes sense to add the late Kobe Bryant because everyone believes he should be there as well.

Coach Brown made a valid point when he emphasized the notable distinctions between LeBron, Jordan, and Bryant—even though he did not disclose his choice in the GOAT debate. According to him, the qualities that set Bryant, MJ, and Bron apart from the others are their unquenchable competitive fire. Though their outcomes may not have been identical, Brown believes that their competitive strategies were somewhat similar to one another.

Coach Mike Brown said:

I don't know if there's a better playmaker or passer than LeBron. He's unbelievable. LeBron can help connect any team because of his unselfish nature. He plays basketball the right way. On the flip side, you've got a killer in MJ or Kobe, Those guys are assassins. Maybe for a veteran team that's right there to take that next step, you may need that at that time.

Mike Brown was the only GOAT candidate who had personal experience with both Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. Mike was unable to go into detail about how these talented athletes, except LBJ and KB, differed from one another off the court after saying that. According to Brown, he could say that personality was the most obvious distinction between James and Bryant.

Mike Brown tells his secret after winning over Denver Nuggets

The Sacramento Kings defeated the Denver Nuggets 123-117 on Saturday night in their home opener against the reigning NBA champions. De’Aaron Fox, the Kings’ explosive All-Star point guard, led the team with 26 points, 16 assists, and three steals in the game. Sacramento’s head coach Mike Brown spoke with reporters following the game about his expectations for his team and how they won against Denver.

Heck of a game by our guys. One of the things that we talked about, obviously they came off a back-to-back and we know what it's like to play in back-to-back situations, so we told our guys to play fast. Play as fast as you can, and they did a pretty good job of it

The Kings’ fast-paced offense helped them run the most efficient offense in NBA history during their 48-win 2022–2023 campaign. With Fox being the fastest player in the league, Brown could take advantage of a fatigued Nuggets team in the second leg of a back-to-back.
