As the trade deadline approaches, we may see some interesting changes in our favorite teams. The Philadelphia 76ers are the front runners to land The Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson. Based on Thompson’s recent performances, fans are curious to know if The Warriors will trade their 4-time champion, and who they might receive in exchange for the player.

Former MVP Joel Embiid went through surgery for a lateral meniscus in his knee. Embiid injured his knee during a game against the Warriors after Jonathan Kuminga fell on him. The star is expected to be absent for a long amount of time considering the treatment and healing process. This puts the 76ers season in danger as it can affect the team a great deal.

On the other hand, Thompson has not been a significant help to the Warriors. The guard has been inconsistent and has been average during a challenging time for his team. The Warriors are now the 11th in the Western Conference with a 22-25 record. Earlier this season Thompson declined the Warriors’ two-year $48 Million offer.

The 76ers fans are not happy with Thompson’s recent performances. They are also curious about who might get traded in exchange for him. Warriors fans’ on the other hand, do not want their dynasty of Thompson alongside Stephen Curry and Draymond Green to come to an unceremonious end.
