While would argue that Klay Thompson was not at his absolute best whilst leading the Golden State Warriors, yet there is no denying that his contribution was immense. However, with the Warriors cruising past Boston Celtics in Game 6 at TD Garden, the splash brother surely made everyone aware that he has not let gone of previous banters and called out Memphis Grizzlies’ Jaren Jackson Jr in the most savage way possible.

Having battled consecutive injuries for the past 2 years, Klay Thompson finally made his return for the Dub Nation in 2021-22 season. With a slow start, KT did have his sheer-best moments, yet it was clear that he would not have the same scoring prowess as before at least in the 2021-22 season as he had no time to pull up his socks with the season running in full speed. But that did not let the splash brother from playing a crucial supporting role behind Stephen Curry.

What was opinionated by Klay Thompson? 

So, why did Klay Thompson call out Jaren Jackson Jr after the Warriors went onto clinch their seventh franchise title? On March 28, the Grizzlies team beat a Warriors side without Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. After the win, JJJ went to Twitter and put up a tweet mocking the Warriors’ ideology. I guess Klay Thompson noticed the same, as he made sure to talk about it during the post-game interview tonight.

That being said, Klay isn’t the kind of player to show his emotions too often or speak up this much. Hearing him call out the young stud of Memphis Grizzlies surely felt good, and it just goes to show how much the win tonight meant to him, and to the team.

Lastly, with several months at disposal and the right morale in the team camp, will Klay Thompson be able to find his best form when he returns to represent the Warriors since the beginning of the 2022-23 season? Or will we witness this splash brother completely adjusting to his new-framed role? Remains to be seen.
