Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors dominated the Denver Nuggets in game 2 of the Playoff Series which now gives the team a 2-0 advantage over their rivals, making the path towards the NBA Championship easier. The Warriors’ win against the away team was an overall effort wherein all the members of the squad played their given roles, supporting others in their quest for getting a dub, and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the team’s lineup is definitely doing a great job in what they’re supposed to do, dominate. Thompson showered the Warriors’ young talent Jordan Poole with heaps of praises, comparing his style to that of the Icon of NBA in this generation, Stephen Curry.

Klay Thompson in a panel discussion post game after the Warriors’ win against the Denver Nuggets sat down to discuss the reasons as to why his team was one of the best teams in the league, and seemed to be justifying why they were doing what they were doing. In that process, Thompson didn’t hold back in showering his fellow teammate, their the 22-year-old Shooting guard Jordan Poole with praises which are bound to boost his morale and take him a long way ahead just like the person he was compared to, Stephen Curry.

The Warriors won yet another match against the Denver Nuggets taking their lead in the series to 2-0, and this time it was comparatively easier and highlighted the confidence the team had in itself. The win of Golden State Warriors over Denver Nuggets was as dominant as last time, if not even more, making their path towards clinching the series easier with a 2-0 lead currently.

The game was an entire team effort which involved great contribution from Stephen Curry who led the way with 34 points, followed by Jordan Poole with 29 points and then Thompson with 21 points resulting in a 20-point win. After the game, Thompson sat down with a panel in order to discuss the game and the reasons as to why the squad was very effective.

Thompson sat down to highlight the reasons for the team’s win and effectiveness when he started off by saying that the squad had unique roles, which they were playing perfectly therefore giving them the needed results. He stated that Stephen Curry played his part of the pick and roll, coming off the catch, and then went on to call Poole “baby Steph Curry” with his ability to “stop and pop”, and then spoke about himself being the catch and shoot guy, Wiggins being great around the rim and then Draymond Green gluing them all together with his ability to play-make, calling it an overall elite line-up.

The highlight of the discussion was Thompson calling the 22-year-old Poole “baby Steph Curry” which is bound to motivate the player and should help the team in getting better and better with time. It will also be interesting to see how the team performs in the coming games against the Nuggets who will now be in damage control mode and will look to get back into the series, going all out in their performances, therefore increasing the intensity in the games.
