Thompson went live on Instagram while cruising on his boat, a familiar sight for his followers. The five-time NBA All-Star declared that his upcoming 13th NBA season will undoubtedly be the best of his career.
Thompson said:
My 13th year in the association. It's gonna be the best one yet.
Interestingly, Thompson hopped on Instagram Live, exuding confidence for the upcoming season, just half an hour after significant news regarding his contract situation with the Warriors surfaced.

In a recent interview on Sirius XM NBA Radio, the veteran wing shed light on his offseason work.
He said:
It's night and day. No championship hangover for me this summer. I was very driven. I worked extremely hard. I know that I don't have 10 more years to do this.
Thompson further revealed that he’s in the best physical shape he’s been in for years due to his offseason work.
So, I realize that I must enjoy every single day. I feel great. This is the best I've physically felt in years. I'm just really excited to show the world I'm still capable of greatness.
Thompson displayed glimpses of his former self in the previous season, with his 3-point shooting returning to an elite 41.2% on 10.6 attempts per game. While his defense continued to be a work in progress, in his first full season back on the court, Thompson made a strong impression alongside his longtime teammate, Steph Curry, and he holds firm in his belief that the upcoming season will showcase his best performance yet.
