With the Washington Wizards planning to blow it up this upcoming summer, the future of several Wizards players is up in the air including their forward Kyle Kuzma.
As per a new report that has surfaced, Kyle Kuzma is expected to be made available in the open market this summer with several landing spots available for the young star. The Indiana Pacers, the Utah Jazz, the Knicks and the Sacramento Kings are all in the mix to acquire Kuz but a reunion with Lakers cannot be ruled out either.
According to the report Kuzma is ready for a bigger contract: “Kyle Kuzma is expected to decline his $13.0M player option with the Wizards and become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.” This came as a no-brainer for Kyle Kuzma as the 27-year-old will be entering his prime and will demand a much higher contract than a $13 million contract extension.
Kuzma had his breakout year with the Wizards last season as he posted 21.2 ppg, 7 rpg and 3 apg. The star proved to be one of the best shooters in the league and ranked as one of the most reliable defenders in the league with his 7′-foot wingspan playing a huge role in that part. He could help any competitive team looking to seriously contend this season.
The Utah Jazz is leading the race to get Kuzma as they have the capital to acquire him, but the Lakers might look glamorous for Kuzma as the star has hinted his interest in re-joining the team in Los Angeles.

The Wizards can change the whole League this NBA Free Agency
After finding no success with the current roster they have, the Wizards are planning to start a rebuild making them one of the biggest sellers this offseason.
The Wizards pulled the plug when they decided to finally move Bradley Beal to suitable teams. With the bidding war going on for Beal, the Wizards also have other budding stars that are highly sought after by contending teams looking to make huge changes in the summer.
As of now, Bradley Beal is rumoured to be packaged to either the Phoenix Suns or the Miami Heat and other talks are still open but are not likely to happen as Beal has a no-trade clause in his contract meaning that the star can pick wherever he wants to go to and also the content of the package for his exchange. The Wizards are also looking to move Kristaps Porzingis who also possessed an equally awful contract to Beal to the franchise, the franchise can get back multiple first-round picks for both of them and can host multiple bad contracts for salary dumps to be a powerhouse in terms of draft capital.
With the Wizards possessing valuable assets, they have the power to shift the power scale of the NBA as any team where Beal goes to becomes an immediate contender and if the Lakers somehow pulled off a Kuzma reunion, they can also be serious contenders in the Western Conference.
