Luka Doncic is making his way to a bright future in the NBA. The guard’s 2023-24 season has been nothing short of extraordinary. The young talent is currently in the MVP race for his contribution on all sides of the court. The player’s performance has certainly lifted the Dallas Mavericks’ performance this year.

Another contributor to the Mavericks’ current success, Kyrie Irving also could not help but join the praise for Luka Doncic. After a sweet victory against the Sacramento Kings on Friday, the 32-year-old spoke about sharing his desire to be one of the best players in league history. Irving believes that many players in the NBA share a similar desire and compete with each other to achieve it.

While on the topic, the guard did not leave his teammate out of the conversation. The star expressed feeling fortunate to play alongside a talent such as Doncic. Irving wholeheartedly praised the 25-year-old and called him one of the greatest to ever play the game of basketball.
