In a recent interview on SiriusXM NBA Radio, Ira Winderman, a respected beat writer for the South Florida Sun Sentinel, discussed the possibility of Kyrie Irving, star point guard for the Dallas Mavericks, signing with the Miami Heat. Winderman, who has been covering the Heat for an impressive 45 years, expressed his belief that Irving would love to join the Heat, despite any potential reservations from the Miami organization.
“Kyrie Irving has been manipulating…While I think Kyrie would love to be here (in Miami), that doesn’t mean the Heat would love to have him here…I do think Kyrie Irving wants to come here,” said Winderman during the interview.
The news of Irving’s potential interest in joining the Miami Heat comes at an inconvenient time for Mavericks fans, who are eagerly hoping to see their team re-sign the talented point guard.
