NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith made a bold statement on Brooklyn Nets star player Kyrie Irving. Smith thinks Kyrie might end his partnership with his teammate Kevin Durant and join Los Angeles Lakers next season. Stephen A. Smith was talking on the latest episode of the ESPN’s ‘NBA Today’ show.

Stephen A. Smith said, “This is their (Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving) last season together. They’re not re-signing with Brooklyn. Kyrie is not re-signing with Brooklyn. Kyrie is planning to go to Los Angeles.” He added that Kyrie was only trying to get into the LA Lakers team this season and will finally find his way to Los Angeles in free agency after this season.

The Nets superstar duo was nearly broken following Kevin Durant’s trade request. On the other hand, Kyrie Irving was trying to facilitate his way to the Los Angeles Lakers, and he ultimately opted in and returned to Brooklyn. On the other hand, Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 24 points and 14 rebounds in 32 minutes. Jrue Holiday finished with 20 points, and Jevon Carter added 15 points on 6-for-12 shooting. The Milwaukee Bucks couldn’t win a single pre-season game in their five matches.
