LeBron James is having a tough time carrying the Los Angeles Lakers all alone. King James did it throughout the season and he continues to do it in the playoffs as well. But now, it seems like he can’t carry the team all alone. Kyrie Irving, who played alongside James for a few years at the Cleveland Cavaliers and won a championship, is apparently ready to take that responsibility.

Even before the season ended, the Lakers were already planning on increasing the depth of their squad for the next season. The team seems equally interested in acquiring Irving as he is in being a part of them. While the duo compliments each other, Irving’s desire to get paid is bound to cause a bit of a tussle. With the Mavericks wishing to pay Irving and keeping him alongside Luka Doncic for the next season, the Lakers bailing him out becomes an interesting scenario.

While fans are aware of the entire situation, they’ve still predicted that Irving will be seen alongside James next season.
