Kyrie Irving, who was deemed antisemitic, humbly donates $60k to the oldest Black Muslin School in NYC
Kyrie Irving
Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving recently returned to the NBA league after serving a suspension of eight games. Irving posted a social media link to a movie with antisemitic content. This led to much drama, and he was handed a list of terms to be completed if he had to play again, which he eventually did. Safe to say, it seemed to have humbled the 2016 NBA Champ.
Recently, he donated a hefty amount to the oldest Black Muslim school in New York City. Kyrie has been one of the best on the court, but many believe that his actions outside the playing arena have always marred his career and led to problems. He may be misunderstood whenever he tries to create awareness about a particular topic.
But he ensured he did some good deeds before Christmas arrived. As mentioned above, he donated $60k to the oldest Black Muslim school, and surprisingly no one even heard a word about it for him unless a random guy tweeted Kyrie’s photo with one of the teachers in the school.
Irving quietly went about his business and showed everyone what a true gentleman he is, amid the whole scenario of almost everyone labeling him ‘antisemitic.’

A special mentioned goes to KD as he scored his 26,074th career point in the third quarter, passing Boston Celtics legend Kevin Garnett (26,071) for 18th place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. Royce O’Neale scored 15 points and dropped a career-high five 3-pointers, while Ben Simmons had 14 for the Nets, who made a strong comeback after losing poorly to the Philadelphia 76ers in the last game.
On the other hand, for the Raptors – Gary Trent Jr. scored 19 points for the Raptors, and Chris Boucher had 12 points and a season-high 16 rebounds. O.G. Anunoby scored 15 points, and Thad Young added 12, but it wasn’t enough to overtake the Nets’ team.
The Nets will look to continue their winning run as they take on the Indiana Pacers next, while the Toronto Raptors will face the Dallas Mavericks.
